From invisible compositing and cleanup to complex CG integration, every shot is approached with the same combination of technical accuracy, artistic judgment and attention to detail.
What began with one artist’s international training and production experience is now growing into a trusted network of VFX professionals working together across feature film, television and commercial projects.

Founder & Lead Compositor
Blanka Madácsi is a VFX compositor and the founder of madASCII STUDIOS. Her career has been shaped by a rare combination of full-pipeline visual effects training, international production experience and teaching.
She approaches compositing not simply as a technical process, but as the final stage where every visual element must come together convincingly. Her work is guided by a simple principle: the strongest visual effects do not compete with the story—they become an invisible part of it.
At madASCII STUDIOS, Blanka leads the creative and technical direction of projects, supervises shot quality and builds artist teams around the specific needs of each production.

Selected to Lead
During The DAVE School’s final collaborative production, Blanka was selected as Lead Artist for the Organic Modelling team, overseeing the quality and consistency of the project’s organic assets.
The resulting production, The Orlando Time Machine, later received two Bronze Telly Awards in 2022.

From Training to International Production
Following graduation, Blanka was selected directly from The DAVE School to join Crafty Apes as an international Junior Compositor.
As part of the Crafty Apes team, she contributed to feature film and television productions and gained first-hand experience of professional studio workflows, production deadlines, shot reviews and the quality standards required for international productions.
Passing the Craft Forward
Alongside her production work, Blanka taught compositing and visual effects to Media Design BA and MA students at Budapest Metropolitan University.
Teaching strengthened her ability to explain complex technical processes clearly, give constructive visual feedback and guide artists through both creative and production challenges—skills that now shape the way she leads and supports the growing madASCII team.

Blanka remains closely involved in project planning, shot review and final quality control, while every artist brings their own experience and specialist strengths to the work.
The result is a studio model that is personal enough to care about every frame, yet flexible enough to support productions as they grow.
